Remember the 1970s children's show "ZOOM" on PBS with the fun, energetic kids dressed in stripes and the girl who could make her hands flutter like a butterfly? We grew up on ZOOM, and we were stunned when we learned Mike was married to Bernadette, the aforementioned star of the show. For real.

Oh yeah, Mike also is a seasoned veteran camerman, traveling the world for CBS News before going freelance. He's covered breaking news in Cuba, South Korea, and Russia, including those heartwarming Reagan-Gorbachev summits during the first real thaw of the Cold War. Before that, he pounded the pavement for network affiliates in Dallas (ABC) and Salt Lake City (NBC).
