Gregory Constantine
Editor / Sound Technician / Jedi Master
A graduate of the New England Institute of Art, Greg first honed his filmmaking skills in his avant-garde shorts, "Galaxy Pool" and Trooper." The first work focused on a futuristic billiards game in which a lightsaber serves as a cuestick while the latter film captured the day-to-day anguish of a veteran Massachusetts State Police Trooper.
In interviews, Greg confides that the wet-vac android and lightsaber cue stick in "Galaxy Pool" were slightly influenced by the films of George Lucas. We don't like to brag here, but our man in the edit room can defeat anyone at Star Wars Trivial Pursuit.
Greg joyfully toils for hours in our Final Cut Pro Dungeon. As you might infer from the adverb "joyfully", it is a dungeon of his own choosing. Roughly translated, "Constantine" means "loves to edit" in Greek.
In one of his new shorts, "King of the Rats", Greg follows a 2008 presidential fringe candidate as he taunts the campaigns of leading Democrats and Republicans. The film was selected as a finalist in CNN's iReport Film Festival competition.
Greg also is an unashamed addict of the Nintendo Wii and Sony Playstation 3 game systems. "Hand-eye coordination", he argues, "is a key skill for editing".
