Graphic Designer / Animator / Animal Trainer

Ben has been called "The Gene Kelly of Digital Animation" for his uncanny ability to make pixels dance. He's also savvy with print design, web graphics, video editing and even sound recording.

Educated at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, Ben formerly worked for a broadcast graphic design firm (developing visual identity graphics for Black Entertainment Television) and a rival television production house (crafting a documentary on soil enrichment and sustainable agriculture).

Ben was previously educated at Lincoln School, the "Harvard of Elementary Schools", in Winchester, Massachusetts. He wistfully remembers Lincoln as a state-of-the-art institution that gave him enough breathing space to be creative. "It all began in second grade with the Apple II," Ben recalls. "Back then, pixels didn't really dance, they just sort of shuffled their feet".

A passionate critic of fast food restaurants, Ben is an avid backyard barbeque buff - preferring to use mesquite wood to fire his steak, lobster, chicken, shrimp and lamb kabobs. "Charcoal merely cooks the food," he says. "Wood enriches it."

When he is not spending quality one-on-one time with his Macbook, Ben is busy training "Spy", his purebred Boston terrier puppy. Named in tribute to the Central Intelligence Agency, Spy is currently being taught to deposit dirty laundry in the hamper, serve his own beverages and commit acts of international espionage.
